Success in any dental treatment , and ortho is not an exception, is highly dependent of the initial planning and data acquisition but also of the communication between all those involved.
In the same time, having the possibility to check and adjust the final results according to the patient individuals parameters , will increase the overall predictability , no matter if it s a simple case or a complex one.
Two essential tools for this are the intra-oral scanner from 3Shape  and the Jaw Motion Analyzer from Zebris.They can provide the basic  informations and also serves as a very efficient communication tools.
We will see how to use the scanner together with the Zebris system for the initial data  recording  and how can we use them at the end or the treatment to check and make sure the results are  what we have planned.
We will talk also about bite splints for different scenarios where we need them before or after the treatment and how can we use the individual parameters to get a functional bite splint.

During the course Dr. Pasciuti will share, through his personal 5-step protocol, all his tips and tricks to increase the predictability and the efficiency of any digital setup to achieve standardized and high-level results in different kind of malocclusions treated with aligners, starting with the final position planning, going through the right staging and the choice of right attachment for every movement. During the lecture, the speaker will also explain the reason why not all the aligners work in the same way and help to understand which one could give more control and will share many different clinical cases treated with clear aligners.

In the last 10 years in dentistry in general, and in orthodontics in particular, we have observed a boom in 3D digital technologies. Traditional impressions have been replaced by 3D intraoral scanning in many clinics, and diagnostic and treatment planning software are being increasingly used.

One single variable was missing for the entire process of diagnosis and planning to be completely digital: digitally recorded mandibular dynamics. This obstacle is currently overcome through the use of Tech in Motion technology from Modjaw. Modaw is a device that digitally records mandibular dynamics. The device's application allows for the diagnosis of dysfunctions, while simultaneously exporting this information to be used with other dedicated diagnostic and planning applications.

In our course, you will be able to learn how to digitally record mandibular dynamics with Modjaw. Additionally, you will learn how to use the recorded information to detect temporomandibular joint dysfunctions and to accurately diagnose and plan orthodontic treatments.
